Seasonal Camp Jobs

CAMP SUPPORT STAFF

It takes lots of manpower behind the scenes to keep camp running smoothly all year long.  Our support camp staff is an indispensable, highly valued part of our team. Whether in the kitchen or out on campgrounds, each staff member plays a vital role. If you love being around kids and in the great outdoors, this is a great way to spend your summer and weekends year-round. Your responsibilities would include cooking, cleaning, activity preparation, and general assistance around the camp. NO EXPERIENCE is required.  However, for certain positions, such as water activity staff at the lake, lifeguard certification and/or water sports experience are preferred.  Wages are negotiable based on experiences.

The support staff is the backbone support system of our camp.  With your expertise and your open heart to serve as Camp Cook, Kitchen Help, Life Guard, Outdoor Safety Instructor, or just General Assistant, you'll have an opportunity to do meaningful work and enjoy:
  • Professional and friendly camping environment
  • Complete room and board provided if preferred
  • Possible camp scholarships for your child(ren)
  • Work with other motivated and caring professionals
  • A perfect mix of spiritual practice and fun in a professional yet family-like atmosphere.

CAMP LEADERS

Camp Leader is an integral part of Leadership at our camp. Camp Leader or Cabin Counselor stays with the youth in a cabin of 12-14 campers to be able to care for and coach them in their activities. Both in the cabin and in the program activities, camp leaders are specialists in the roles of big brothers and big sisters who are responsible for creating a community that is fun and safe emotionally and physically. The responsibilities of a camp leader or cabin counselor may also be compared to the job of a caretaker. Cabin care consists of supervising camper bunks in conjunction with one or two other co-counselors on a daily basis. Throughout the day camp counselors monitor and participate in the group's activities and do everything in their power to make each of their campers' summer the most memorable yet. Camp counselors must be fun-loving, patient, and genuinely concerned for the welfare and development of young people.

Serving as key staff in all of the camp programs, you'll have an opportunity to make a difference in someone's life and enjoy:

  • Professional and caring camping environment
  • Travel stipend to and from camp included (regardless of your location)
  • Complete room and board provided
  • Family accommodations are available if needed
  • Possible camp scholarships for your child(ren)
  • Working with other motivated and inspiring professionals
  • An opportunity to get to know our campers on a different level.
  • A perfect mix of spiritual practice and fun in a professional yet family-like atmosphere.
